Smart Manufacturing: RockPlus MES Helps Enterprises Reduce Costs and Improve Efficiency
Under the pandemic, production could not afford delays. Boosting capacity became the top priority. At the core factory, with limited personnel and new employees still in training, the team turned to smart manufacturing for solutions. Since December 2019, TCL Electronics Operations Center had partnered with Hegong Software, leveraging the HG MES JIT material calling module and 5G smart material vehicles for automated production material and finished product distribution. When the pandemic struck, the smart manufacturing project team accelerated progress, fighting on the frontlines. Through collective efforts, 6 smart manufacturing AMR robots conducted field trial operations at the core factory after the New Year!
The AMR robots are a collaborative project addressing complex warehouse environments, low automation levels, and mixed human-vehicle traffic during transportation. Using 5G and intelligent environment recognition technologies, they achieve one-click unmanned intelligent distribution. Under pandemic conditions, the project team pushed forward tenaciously, accelerating progress while ensuring safety through field trials.
