Value-Driven: TCL and Hegong Software Build a 5G+ Smart Factory
On the morning of May 9, 2020, Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officials, including Director Jiang Kun of the Industrial Internet Division, visited TCL LCD Industrial Park to inspect the 5G+ Industrial Internet Application Demonstration Park. Accompanied by TCL Electronics Operations Center General Manager Niu Hailong, China Mobile Huizhou Deputy GM Lai Jianjun, Hegong Software HG MES Project Manager Lu Xiaolong, and other enterprise representatives, the inspection team toured the 5G+ Smart Factory, 5G+8K ultra-HD live TV test lab, and TCL Electronics Smart Manufacturing and Supply Chain Cockpit.
Director Chen Xiaohui introduced the project''s background, business scenarios, and benefits. Hegong Software PM Lu Xiaolong then demonstrated the value-driven HG MES system as the central hub, combined with 5G networks, driving smart material vehicles for the entire logistics distribution system from raw material loading to finished product offloading. The project addresses TCL TV''s "Huizhou Manufacturing, Global Assembly" model requirements for logistics and warehousing, applying 5G autonomous driving technology to develop "5G-Based Vision Autonomous Mobile Robots for Smart Warehousing," significantly improving manufacturing efficiency and reducing logistics personnel.
