RockPlus PTL Light-Directed Picking System: A Comprehensive Smart Logistics Solution
With the rapid development of the logistics industry, warehouse management faces unprecedented challenges. Rapidly growing material volumes and increasingly complex storage requirements make warehouse management more difficult. Finding materials has become time-consuming, while traditional picking methods consume substantial manpower and costs with low efficiency. Unclear storage locations lead to frequent material loss, with over-picking, under-picking, and mis-picking occurring regularly. Existing systems also show significant deficiencies in data synchronization and real-time alerts.
To address these challenges, Hegong Software developed the RockPlus PTL (Pick-to-Light) system. When operators scan work order barcodes, the corresponding storage location LEDs illuminate, guiding operators to the exact pick location. After picking, the lights turn off automatically. The system integrates with WMS and MES, providing end-to-end material traceability from warehouse to production line. Compared to traditional paper-based picking, PTL reduces error rates by over 90% and significantly improves picking efficiency.
