SMT Industry Printing Machine Error-Proofing Control

System Requirements
In SMT industry customer audits, common requirements for printing machine control include: stencil and squeegee error-proofing methods, usage count tracking, FIFO solder paste management, solder paste thawing verification, and traceability records for solder paste, stencil, and squeegee usage. To address these challenges, Hegong Software developed RockPlus PVT, an effective printing machine error-proofing control system for SMT workshops.

Solder Paste Control
RockPlus PVT assigns a unique barcode to each solder paste container, recording its batch number, expiration date, and UID. After registration, the solder paste is received into inventory. When needed, the system recommends solder paste based on FIFO principles matching the work order. Before use, operators perform thawing operations on the solder paste using the system PDA, which automatically records the thawing time. After thawing, scanning the solder paste barcode at the line triggers automatic matching with the current printing machine product program. The system verifies correct solder paste, checks for expiration, and confirms sufficient thawing time. If conditions are not met, the system displays an error and locks the printer rail to prevent production.

Stencil Control
Stencils are registered in the system with unique barcodes tracking usage count and cleaning cycles. Before stencil installation, operators scan the stencil barcode. The system verifies whether the stencil matches the current product and checks that the usage count has not exceeded the defined limit. Cleaning records are maintained with automated cleaning cycle tracking. Stencil life management includes tension monitoring records and scrapping procedures when limits are reached.
Squeegee Control
Similar to stencil management, squeegees are barcode-registered with usage count tracking and periodic replacement alerts. The system ensures only properly maintained tools enter the production line.
